The client required a solution that would entertain visitors while also aligning with their marketing strategy to highlight specific products.
Our challenge was to design and develop an AR-based mobile app that would lead customers through fun and interactive item collection quests, encouraging them to explore the store and discover products in a new and engaging way.
Solution
We developed a Unity-based mobile application that leverages augmented reality (AR) to deliver an immersive scavenger hunt experience within the retail environment.
To support the interactive quests, our team designed and implemented detailed 3D models of featured products, ensuring each virtual item was both visually appealing and faithful to its real-world counterpart.
The application guides users through the store, prompting them to explore different aisles and collect virtual items, enhancing engagement and turning a typical shopping visit into a playful, brand-driven experience.
Result
The AR app successfully transforms the in-store shopping experience by turning product discovery into an engaging, interactive journey. As users search for and collect virtual items, they become more aware of the products on offer, resulting in increased interest and higher sales.
