AI-powered Language Learning App with Blockchain Integration
Stack:
The primary challenge was to streamline the language learning process, particularly the acquisition of new words, to make it more engaging and efficient.
We aimed to develop a solution that not only provided etymological insights but also utilized modern technologies to improve retention and engagement, with the help of AI.
Tech Stack
Frontend: Angular
Backend: Python
Smart contracts: Solidity
Authorization: Web3Auth
AI services: OpenAI, DALL-E 3, Google AI (PaLM), Pexels, Eleven

Solution
We have developed a user-friendly and straightforward functionality that is entirely focused on exploring new etymologies and adding new exciting approaches to this process.
The main component of this solution are AI services that help generate the necessary steps of word learning with ety.ai.
OpenAI → Etymology, mnemonics
Open AI DALL-E 3 → Image generation
Google AI (PaLM) → Quiz on the learned word
Pexels API (video), Eleven API (voiceover) → Explainer video for the learned word

The platform incorporated blockchain technology through the creation and implementation of Lessons Learned Coins (LLC), which can be earned by completing the quizzes. Then users can use LLC to request video generation on learnt word, with the system rewarding users based on the performance metrics of their videos.
The implementation of Web3Auth ensured secure access to the platform, while self-executing smart contracts facilitated transparent and automated verification processes.

Result
Etymology AI accelerated comprehension and retention of vocabulary through an interactive approach.
Blockchain integration stimulated user engagement, fostering a sense of community. The elements like images, videos, and audio added even more variety to the learning process, improving accessibility and satisfying different user preferences.
It’s noteworthy that such a mini-lesson is created right before your eyes in a super short period, thanks to AI.
